| The program has a multidisciplinary recovery team that works very hard to ensure that each person's treatment experience is of the highest quality and that their individual needs are addressed. We believe people have the right to achieve recovery in an atmosphere of safetly, dignity, and empowerment. We do not agree with the common notion that "one size fits all", so we treat each client as an individual and tailor out treatment plans to address their specific challenges that are a threat to their recovery. |

(Addiction and Prevention Services), also known as “State Funded/Block Grant” |
This is a funding source that each person must qualify for by having a drug and alcohol assessment at any one of three RADAC’s in the state of Kansas and/or a state funded facility that offers drug and alcohol assessments. The findings of a drug and alcohol assessment are to qualify a person for a specific level of treatment and to qualify for funding assistance depending on poverty guidelines.
Parallax Residential Facility does not conduct AAPS or MEDICAID assessments. Parallax refers most inquiries to one the RADAC’s, depending on your area, for an assessment. Once completed the agency may call and place people on our waiting list for Residential Services, at which you time will be contacted upon availability. |
|
This is a funding source that persons holding a valid MEDICAID card issued by the State of Kansas under managed care provider Value Options, may receive services without out of pocket expense. This being said every person that holds MEDICAID coverage must still qualify for drug and alcohol treatment by having an assessment through one of the RADAC’s , or a Medicaid funded treatment facility.
