Milt Fowler, founded Parallax Program, Inc. in 1971 as a volunteer outpatient counseling program associated with the court of Common Parole Office. Milt expanded Parallax into an sub-acute residential treatment center for alcohol and drugs in 1978 and received support from the city's HUD program for short-term residential subjects. It changed in 1981 to long-term residential treatment for chemical dependency services.
He has served on many committees over the past years that impacted the treatment system state wide. He shares, that the experience has been very interesting and rewarding at the same time. |
